Carthage Chorale: Vox Ignis

The Vox Ignis is a tenor-bass ensemble that welcomes singers of a wide range of ability and experience. The Vox Ignis participates in the Christmas Festival, the Family Weekend Worship Service, and other events. It is directed by Dr. Maggie Burk.

Approximately two-thirds of the ensemble consists of non-music majors. The Vox Ignis explores a diverse body of repertoire that ranges from the Western art music tradition to African-American spirituals to musical theatre. New members are welcome! Rehearsals are from 11:45 a.m. to 1:25 p.m. Mondays and Fridays, in the JAC 140, Choral Room.
